Q&A Time!

Hello, everyone.  Today I am here with a Q&A!

What is your favorite way to travel?
I really like the bus. It's just so familiar and cozy.

What is your favorite place to stay during your travels?
Well, I like staying in hotels with great bonuses. There was one I stayed in with free popcorn in the evenings!

What is your favorite environment to travel to?
I really like mountains in general, but I also love the beach when it's warm.

What is your Hogwarts house?
I have taken a few tests and gotten both Ravenclaw and Griffindor and I feel like I kinda relate to both. So I guess I'm a Ravendor. Or a Griffinclaw.

I also decided while finding out my Hogwarts house to find my patronus, which is a weasel.

What kind of cheese is your favorite?
I'm a pretty simple guy, I like string cheese.

What is your favorite snack?
I like Swedish Fish and crackers.

What is your favorite place that you have traveled?
I had a really fun time a few years ago when I went to Colorado, and I think I would like to go somewhere like that again.

 Why did you start blogging?
I have always loved to travel, and on a small trip to our grandparents Allie's sister suggested that I should start blogging about my travels, and so I did.

Who inspires you?
Mother nature. It simply amazes me that anyone could create something so beautiful and diverse, while also being the basis of everything in this world.

So that was my Q&A! Thank you to everyone who submitted questions, I have really enjoyed doing this. Maybe I will do another in the future.

Peace out my friends

The Story of Me, part 2

Merry Christmas and Happy new year, everyone!  Happy February. I'm very late with this post.

I made it home for the Holidays, and now it is time for the second part of my story. This time it is just a collection of interesting things that have happened throughout my life.

There have been quite a few times when I have gotten lost, but Ali has always found me. One of those times I got lost in her mom's closet. I am not sure exactly what was going on but I got put in the closet and forgotten about for a little bit, I believe when I was found was either on Christmas or it was almost Christmas, I can't quite remember.

Another time I somehow got stuck in the middle of a roll of paper at The Grandparents'. I'm not sure how that happened but I ended up spending the summer in that thing cause Ali couldn't find me.

And another time I simply got left at the Grandparents', so they mailed me home with some Easter gifts for Ali and her sister. And then of course the most recent time where Ali left me at the Grandparents' and got me when they came for Christmas.

So that was pretty much it for my life stories, I will probably think of some other things to tell you about soon, but for now that's all. I still need some more Q&A questions so please ask anything you want to know!

I haven't posted in a very long time, and this post won't be long, but I would like to do a Q&A, so if you have any questions please leave them in the comments and I will answer them in my next post.
Peace out my friends

The story of Me part 1

Hello everyone.
From the 11th to the 12th Ali and her family went to visit the grandparents. I came along, of course and had a wonderful time, but then I got stuck under the sheets in the bed, and Ali forgot me!
The grandparents found me, thankfully and have given me a nice place to stay, but I wont be able to post any pictures until Ali comes for Christmas and brings me home.
In the meantime, I will tell you my story.

My story began Christmas eve of 2011. Ali had been wanting a stuffed duck for a long time, and Santa knew how much she wanted one. So he gathered up all of us ducks in his workshop and examined each of us to see who would be right for Ali. After looking each one of us over thoroughly, he went into his office to think. Us ducks all waited eagerly outside the big guy's office and after what seemed like ages he stepped out and spoke. "I know how much every one of you ducks wants to be delivered to the house of Ali tonight, but only one of you is the perfect match. Delbert, congratulations, from this day forward, you will be Ali's stuffing-stuffed companion."

I was so excited I almost screamed, but I'm too manly to do that. It was an excitement-packed evening as we got everything ready for the big night. Finally, Santa climbed onto the sleigh, and with a Now w, Dasher! Now w, Dancer! etc. we were off! It was the ride of a lifetime. Better than a roller coaster!

When we finally arrived at Ali’s house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The big guy took me out of the sleigh, along with a bunch of other gifts, and headed down the chimney. He placed me in a chair with Ali’s other gifts and then came the boring part. Waiting. I was too excited to fall asleep, even though I was really tired. I did end up drifting off after a while though. After what seemed like an eternity, I heard everyone waking up. I straightened my bow tie and smoothed my feathers just before Ali came in. The moment I saw her it was love at first sight.

Ali is the best companion a duck could ever have and I am so glad Santa picked me. There is much more to my story so I will have to do a part two of this post. I hope you enjoyed!

My waterfall trip.

Hello, everyone! I am Delbert and I have been a traveler all my life, but somehow never thought of blogging my travels until fairly recently. So today I bring you my first post, about a trip to a beautiful state park in the beautiful mountains with a beautiful waterfall. It was beautiful.
On the way we went to a pumpkin farm, and I had many more pictures from there,
but I had some problems when uploading them and lost most of them.
There were very big pumpkins though, they had some that were three times my size!

I got to drive a truck! JK, it's a photo board. I wish I could drive though.

This was the view from our hotel. It was so pretty there.

This is not as dangerous as it looks, there was ground about 5 feet below that railing.
The angle of the picture just makes it look dangerous.

We went on a hike and this was my sweet ride.

 A neat hollow tree.

This beautiful picture of me by the creek.
 A bridge.

 Its a pink leaf!

 I climbed a tree!

 A stump throne.

Another tree I climbed. I like to climb trees.

This was at the bottom of the falls. We hiked all the way to the top.

Partway up. The lower part was more of a downhill-flowing creek.

 A bit farther up.

Almost there!
 We made it! So pretty.

We went to an apple orchard on the way home.

This was on a hayride, you can't really tell, but it was.

These were some longhorn bulls we saw on the hayride.

So that concludes my first post. I really enjoyed this trip and if you want to see a little more nature photography you can visit Ali's blog Here.

I hope you enjoyed my post and I'll see you next time.
